I've recently finished two new flower meadow paintings. One was painted for a customer that had pre-ordered it and the other was painted for the Cardiff Frame Company.
The Cardiff Frame Company has now sold several of my paintings. They stretch and frame the paintings and hang them in their premises for their customers to view. It's great to hear that my flower meadow paintings have been well received in Cardiff!
Both of these abstract flower meadows have multi-coloured flower stems painted on to a green background. The flower stems rise up to the top of the canvas on both sides and are slightly lower in the middle of the painting. The viewer can see a white horizon that then gradually transitions to a lovely blue sky towards the top of the painting.
There are lots of different abstract flowers in these paintings but one has red as the dominant flower colour and the other canvas has yellow as the most popular colour. The delicate balance of colours in these paintings means that no two are ever quite the same!
Both of these paintings have now sold but I will be painting some more quite similar canvases fairly soon.
